Rabie Khaled, Egyptologist and Khemitologist
Some words about me
My first memory of visiting the Pyramids was when I was eight years old. My only question at the time was, “How did they build that?!” Ever since that time I have been curious about the answer to this question about ancient Egypt and more. I was born and raised in Cairo into a tourism family.
My father was born in Luxor where tourism is the only major form of employment. My brother has been a tour guide for 20 years and started his own tourism company. This is where I discovered my own interest in Egyptology and eventually Khemitology.
Education
I studied for four years in the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel at Sinai University and received my Bachelor of Science in 2007. There we focused on Egyptology, which included the ancient Egyptian myths, history, and language. I also studied the German language during this time.
I'm a member in the syndicate of the Egyptian tour guides (S.T.E.G). After graduation I started working for OFT REISEN, which was the largest German tour company at that time. With Oft Reisen I led tours in the Western Desert, Sinai, and Upper Egypt. I found that I enjoyed working in the desert or on the Nile sailboat cruises because I could interact more with clients.
I went to work for several tour agents as a freelance tour guide over the course of seven years. During this period I became deeply interested in the source of the work Khemitology, and subsequently the philosophy itself.
Past Experiences
This interest led me to do my own research and self-study about alchemy while meeting with shaman and healers, who gave me additional guidance and support. At this time, I came to understand that the word alchemy comes from the ancient word for Egypt, “Khemet”.
Because of my knowledge in both Egyptology and Khemitology, I can combine both sources of knowledge to offer a completely different picture of ancient Egypt than the one most people are familiar with. I am still in the process of developing my intuition as a means to integrate heart and spirit with consciousness in order to experience the natural state of peace and love.
Currently, I manage the Spiritual Department of Sahara Egypt Travel agency and Memphis Tours travel agency. Sending you love, light, and peace.
